Faucet dripping? Here's what to do first
A drip is almost always a worn cartridge or O-ring. Bring the old part to the store and match it exactly — brands are not interchangeable.

What to do, in order
- Step 1: Close both stop valves under the sink and open the faucet to drain the line.
- Step 2: Plug the drain so small screws cannot escape.
- Step 3: Pop the handle cap, remove the screw, and lift the handle off.
- Step 4: Pull the cartridge with pliers and take it to the store to match.
- Step 5: Grease the new O-rings lightly, reassemble, then open the valves slowly and check for drips.
