What to do, in order
- Step 1: Confirm the fridge has power and the temperature dial wasn't nudged.
- Step 2: Clear food away from the interior vents so cold air can circulate.
- Step 3: Unplug it, pull it out, and vacuum the condenser coils at the back or underneath.
- Step 4: Listen: a compressor that clicks and hums every few minutes usually points to a failed start relay.
- Step 5: Plug back in and give it 24 hours before judging the result.
